We do not bend to every breeze, Nor run from shadows on the wall; The spirit learns to rest its faith On foundations that never fall. So let the heavy breath come slow, And let the anxious fires cease. In realms where love and sorrow blend. I pen these lines to you, my friend. Though fate has led us far apart, Your memory lingers in my heart. The days we shared, the dreams we spun. Now echo faintly, one by one.   Yet in the quiet of the night.  Your presence fills the soft moonlight. I long to hold you close once more.  To feel the love we knew before.   But till that day, I'll keep you near.  In whispered words and silent tears. For love transcends both time and space.
