🌺From Baalah’s hills the people came, 
With David crowned in holy flame. 
The winds held breath, the stars stood still. 
To seek the Ark on Zion’s hill.  
💦The Ark of Glory leads us home.🍒

🍂Through Judah’s land, their voices soared,
To Kirjath’s gate, they bore the Lord.  
A throne of fire, a golden sleep,  
Where cherubim in silence keep.
👁️The Ark of Glory leads us home.🐾🪻

🫀No sword nor crown could match the light  
That burned between the wings of might.
 The dust gave way, the earth grew hushed. 
As heaven’s pulse through Israel rushed.  
💅The Ark of Glory leads us home.🌺

🏝️They danced with joy, they wept with grace. 
Each step a prayer, each breath a place. 
The sacred weight upon their hands. 
Was love that stretched through ancient lands.  
🎯 The Ark of Glory leads us home.🍁

🪅And David sang, the veil grew thin, 
The Lord drew near, the song within. 
The gates of heaven opened wide. 
And glory walked with them inside.  
The Ark of Glory leads us home.🎋🥈

Merriment mine Merriment, We were born adventurous, bold and free,  To build a territory, where dreams can be. We’ll sit at the table, with hearts full of cheer. And bring merriment, to banish all fear,  As though we’d never been here before, Our spirits renewed, our souls restored,  Our breath in our nostrils, like smoke will rise,  We’ll live in our father’s land, with open eye.  In a realm where no humans reside in the past, Our enemies will withdraw, and flee at last,  The kingdom shall establish, its roots deep and strong. And merriment, will echo all day long. This poem was written in 2021 from a novel title  The Old Jack of Merriment .
